PRESS RELEASE: Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Says The Debate On Gun Control Is Over, Congress Must Act Now

"Despite the public’s lack of trust in Congress, the American public has not given up hope that change can happen." -Rep. Tulsi Gabbard

U.S. Representative of Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District, combat veteran, and Founding Fellow of The Sanders Institute Tulsi Gabbard has been a consistent advocate for common sense gun regulation throughout her career.

In solidarity with the upcoming "March for Our Lives" event on Saturday, March 24th, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard penned an op ed for The Sanders Institute showing that the majority of Americans want common sense gun regulations now, including support for measures such as: restricted access to assault weapons; restricted access to high capacity ammunition magazines; increasing the legal purchasing age; and enforcing stricter universal background checks.
